We think you should know how this website makes money. Here it is, in full.
We sell our own products
Elevate 11:11 designs digital planners, budget and habit trackers, spreadsheet templates, and printable wall art. These are our own products. David designs them. They are sold through our Etsy shop as instant digital downloads.
When an article on this site links to one of our planners or trackers, that is us recommending our own work, and we earn money if you buy it. We point it out in the article rather than burying it, because a recommendation you cannot see the incentive behind is not worth much.
How we decide what to recommend
Our guides are written to be useful whether or not you ever buy anything. Every method we describe can be done with a notebook, a free spreadsheet, or a pen and the back of an envelope, and we say so.
We mention our products where they genuinely save someone the setup work, not in every paragraph and not in articles where they do not fit. If a guide does not need a product, it does not get one.
Affiliate links
We may occasionally link to third-party tools or resources using affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
When an article contains affiliate links, it says so at the top. We only link to things we would recommend without a commission, and a commission never buys a mention.
Advertising
We may display advertising on this site, including ads served by Google. Advertisers do not review, approve, or influence our articles, and we do not write content to suit an advertiser. Ads are labelled and kept separate from our writing.
Purchases happen on Etsy
This website does not process payments. When you buy one of our products you are buying it on Etsy, under Etsy’s terms, with Etsy’s buyer protection. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information, and neither do we.
Our commitments
- We disclose every commercial relationship, including our own products.
- We do not write reviews of products we have not used.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive mention.
- We correct errors when we find them, and note the correction.
